Counter-Terrorism Expert Recommends Denying Permit for DCP Propane Tank

A former national security advisor, Richard Clarke, has recommended that the Searsport Planning Board deny permits to DCP Searsport, an offshoot of the Colorado-based energy giant who has applied to build a 22.7-million-gallon LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) facility at Mack Point in Searsport. It would be one of the largest marine propane terminals in the country.

An advisor to three presidents on counter-terrorism, Clarke now heads Good Harbor, a security risk consulting firm headquartered in Washington, D.C.    Read more here….
